Do you have friends who often have "big fish" stories?

I uploaded a picture of my buddy Ryan who always seems to be one of those guys that has been there, done that. No matter what you might have done in the past, he has, or knows somebody that has done more. I find it hilarious to listed to his stories, and in fact have grown to embrace them. I actually wait for someone else to finish talking so that Ryan can tell a story over the top. It used to be annoying, but it is actually funny now. Do you have a friend that is like that? What kind of stories do they tell?

My husband has a co-worker/friend like that. No matter what you have done, he has done it a blue million times. If you did it in the daytime, he did it in the day and night. If you spent so much money on something, he either paid more for a better one or he spent less for the same one you got. He is a know it all and doesn't know anything. If you are going to buy something, he will go buy it first just so he can beat you to it. It gets on my nerves when he does that and he stretches the truth. It is very annoying. I just want him to tell the truth and quit trying to be someone that he isn't. We were going to buy a fish pond to put out in our yeard and my husband mentioned it to him. This guy left early from work and went and bought one for him and his wife. Wehn my husband got off from work to stop and get ours, they were sold out of them. that guy bought the last one they had for the year. Now that burned me up. He only bought it because we were going to get one.

That might be the best thing I've ever heard. Selling out the place before you can get there. I rated both of you --- Thanks for the responses

I have a few of those friends actually. Sometimes they'll interrupt you to tell the story, the one that is always bigger and better than yours, or they'll wait until you are finished to make sure the story is always far better than anything you've ever experienced. It's quite funny when you think about it. It was annoying at first like you said, but now I love to laugh at the stupid stuff they bring up.
