My pc keeps rebooting itself once it started window with msgs "attention:..

My pentium processor 3 with windows xp cannot start properly.it shows "attention: entering sleeping more" once the windows start up screen disappeared and reboot itself(the problem it doesn't even go to the windows screen, immediately after the staring windows bar run completed,a blank screen appears and the message comes).this happens even when i start up with safe mode or any other mode.no recent change to programs or any any new software. anything is there i can do with my BIOS setup. helps guys.please gives some more response ,so i can get rid of my problem, thanks in advance.

It sounds like you might have a virus. This is probably not a BIOS problem as if it were, you wouldn't be getting anything. Some viruses are trojan horse viruses and can lie dormant for a while before they start doing damage to your software. You may have to reinstall windows. But, get it checked out first before you do because that is such a pain.

There are few issue on this. Mainly i think is your system files had corrupted. Can u please tell me what the message comes? you said entering sleeping more ? sounds weird. Or some funny message my caused by viruses. This problem is not consist of BIOS setup, so dun modifying it's setting. If there are no other solution you better re-install Windows Xp is the final solution. ¦vote this as best¦TQ¦
