Are you scare of meeting up with your boss? Specially if you know that you have done something wrong which is why he ask for a meeting? Should we really be afraid if this happened to us? I know a friend who really are afraid of her boss that is why i always told her that just think that her boss is also just a person and face her like you are in the same level to lessen her fears. Do you know of other approach in meeting up with your boss?

I only had 2 bosses that I didn't like meeting up with. One was totally business orientated and didn't sympathise with the fact that I was a mother and was also pregnant and needed some help with things sometimes, like my monitor was too low and she wasnt' happy at having to raise it, and she got cross when I had to have time off for scans. The other boss was a guy who wasn't able to communicate with people at all. What he said was the rule and there was nothing you could say to change his mind so a meeting with him meant that he was going to lecture you. I think that yes they are just people like us. If it is difficult to approach them though, it might be worth chatting to their boss. Theymight be more approachable and might be able to help you find a way of communicating better.
