Showtime is doing a series on the Tudor Dynasty. I still need to check this out but here is a site to go look at. www.sho.com

I saw the link about the Tudor Dynasty. Are you a descendant? I have only started and have not really found anything REALLY interesting to most people outside of the family. I did find 2 draft registration cards while they are free on ancestry.com.

Yes, I descend from the Royal House of Tudor and the Royal House of Stewart. I found my grandfather's draft registration card awhile back. It was so cool to see his signature and this is one place I found out what color his eyes were.

All I can tell you is: keep trying. It took me a little over 20 years to find my grandfather's draft card. I was looking for any military records on him. I just had to be very patient. Military records seem to be very difficult to search through. When the opportunity presented itself, I found what I was looking for. The computer databases are a lot better now than they were many years ago. And the databases are improving every day. I used to find many databases that were not searchable so they were not very useful to me. Some of those same databases have become searchable and it has made a huge difference in the the information that can be found.
