What kind of fish have you been breeding and how much luck have you had with then? I have been breeding many American (Both South and Central) cichlids with fairly good luck, right now I have a 55 gallon tank full of firemouth cichlids. I lost my female discus about two months ago but I will get another one when I set up my fish room. I had spiketailed paradise fish spawn and I did not even know it until I saw some young ones and the same with the golden wonder killifish. I am working on getting some dwarf blue crawfsih to spawn for me. I have so much Jave moss in there that it is hard to see how many that I have in the tanks that I have them in. I have had angelfish, dovii, managuensis, red devils, of course convicts and many many other fish to spawn in my tanks.

I bread Bettas for about a year. It is a very painful thing to do! A LOT of work. My last batch was about 135 and they were magnificant! Loved it, don't miss all of the work but do enjoy all of my pics of my babies. I got some beautiful shots of the mating couples too! Beautiful! I had 4 tanks and about 6 large bowls going all of the time

i bread guppies and all i can say is that they are truly one of the easiest fish to breed i think becasuse thier livebears i once has 6 pairs of breeding pairs of guppies in 2 large fish tanks i had something like 40 guppies fry been produced every week made lots of money from them by selling them to fish stores as soon as the fry were about one month old bealive it or not i had something like $500 dollars been produced every month but then i stopped because i got busy from school work and i didn't have the time to care for them anymore

I have a pair and a trio of angelfish (the trio is a male and two females that that male will spawn with. The pair has been spawning weekly and the others I just received so I do not know how wften they will spawn for me. The big thing is to have aloarge enough tank fo rthe pair, at least a twenty gallon (preferably larger) for each pair. They also have to be fed well and be mature male and female and compatable to get them to pair up and spawn for you. If you wish to lezrn more about angelfish aor other fish then go to Aquariompros.com where ai am a moderator. We can help you more than here.

I breed Montezuma swordtails and like the green color and black spots. Right now, I have to get them to stop fighting, as when our weather is strange, then there are a lot of battle scars. Most of the time the females are mild mannered, but they are the fish that are fighting, so no babies now.

Have you tried to put more hiking places and more live foods sometimes thise and changing more water will put them in the mood for a family.

I have many hiding places in the tanks with tank ornaments and plants. Our record breaking temperatures left the area and the females are getting along again. Thanks for the best response.
