Tax Refund?

Are you getting a tax refund this year? What are you going to do with your check?

We are considered poor and with children we got a nice fat check back. We hope to turn that into a new roof for our house that had a fire 3 summers ago. Then we might have volunteers that could fix up the inside and get us living in there again. We are not living in a good situation and really need to get back in there. Wish us luck!

Somehow my tax return worked out so that I don't owe a cent, and I won't be getting anything in return. Rather odd as this has NEVER happened before. Guess everything worked out just as it was supposed to.

I've had that happen, too. Or, I have even owed money when I made 1/2 of what I am making now. That's not fair. People who are poor should never have to pay unless they're running their own business and don't pay up front.

Yes we are getting a refund.. Got it and spent most of it already.. Plus banked some of it..

I've already got my refund. I spent it on new things to make the house look better, and a laptop, a new bed.... blah.. i blew it really.

I already got my refund and I will be spending it on my car or something car related. My car is reaching 120,000 miles and that's a big one just like 60,000. Either I will be doing some maintenance on it or I will put it towards a new car.

Yup we got one and most of it is gone. We used it to pay some bills and then we bought our kids clothes and diapers for months to come.

That was a smart call to stock up on clothes and diapers for months to come! The diaper expense can really add up! Congrats on paying some bills and planning ahead. I think I will follow suit with the diapers idea!
