Marshall MG series guitar amps

Hello!
Yesterday morning I went to a friend's house and I tried his Marshall MG15r guitar amp. The distortion, as Zakk Wylde said, is really crushing. I tried the distortion channel with the equalization all at the maximum (all the three knobs) and I liked the distortion a lot, much more than some pedals... It's a pity I couldn't try it with a overdrive in front of it; if it's good also with a boost, I think it is an amp I should buy!
What do you think about Marshall MG series amps?

I agree - Mesaboogie and Fender are at the top of my selections for tube amps. Marshalls are great, but - here's something to remember:
No matter what amp you own, you can always accentuate its weaker points with a head that will give you what you're looking for.
I use a Behringer Pro.
