I do. I think I was about 3, we were still living in the province and I remember my father was teaching my older brothers to drive and all of us were crammed in the family car. Whenever I tell this story, my family wouldn't believe that I still remember it. They say that I might think that I still remember it based on the stories they were telling. :)

i think it helps to remember if family still talk about the stuff we did as children. it keeps the memory alive. my family doens't talk about anything, my mother doesn't remember alot either from when we were kids or just doens't want to talk about anythinng.

that is actually a good question. I have seared into my memory 2 or 3 things that happened when I was 4 or 5 and nothing else. I believe our brain blocks some things out and also will burn some things into our memory regardless of our age.. It is a mystery and a really good question?

I have a lot of childhood memories and I wish most of them would go away. I still remember things from when I was a baby or toddler. I mostly remember the bad things probably because they caused the strongest emotions. Memories with strong emotions tend to get ingrained more into your memory than those that don't. I know there were good things that happened, but my memories were mostly bad.

I don't remember much of my childhood days. And i also feel that negative emotions makes lasting impressions. I am thankful to my parents that i have 2 albums of me in my childhood years. That of course helps a bit in reminding me that i did have good memories & experiences when i was young. My baby albums chronicle my life from birth to about 7 years old. I have to thank my parents again for such a thoughtful gift they gave to me when i got married almost 8 years ago. I thought that was very sweet of them. Cheers! - Lyn

I don't remember very much from my childhood either, my first memory is from kindergarden. I went to school for half a day and my dad was suppose to pick me up and everyone would wait outside for their parents to come and get them. My dad was always the last one to show up, he is just always late for everything. But that is my first memory waiting outside with the teacher wondering when my dad would show up and what would happen if he didn't. Not very good =) Maybe that is why I have to be early for everything now =) My parents faught alot when I was growing up so I remember always being scared. I remember a few good times too but I think the bad outweighed the good.

I have a spotty memory of when I was five and in Kindergarden. It is strange but I am not 42 and my memory of most of my school years are fuzzy. I remember bits and pieces not a full memory. It is strange what you remember as well as where you remember them. I can be in a store shopping and I look at someone or something and I will tell my mom look at that I did that when I was little. My mom would look at me and say I was so young how do I remember. I don't know how this happens but it does.
