Besides loving everything that I have ever seen Helen Mirren in, I also am a very big fan of Frank Finlay (Dracula, The Three Musketeers), Tennison's father in the series. I can't help but be moved when I see the two together, bickering, agreeing with each other, and opening up as the series progresses. While I have seen one of the episodes of series # 7, channel 13 (PBS) is airing series #6 once again, and I'm enjoying it immensely. How can one not, at least - as a woman, feel for Tennison? The character is so interesting, so strong, and yet so vulnerable.
