Do we earm more from responding to Blogs?

I had a look at the blogs and decided that they didn't apply to me, as I don't have one that is particularly useful. However, a conversation another My Lotter started this morning made me think. Would we earn more if we responded to blogs?(as opposed to discussions). I had thought I didn't have time for responding to any blogs, but now I wonder if there is a reason behind the blogs. I guess I could try a few responses and see if my earnings went up, but then I am not going to be able to tell, if my earnings only say "responses" and not "discussions" and "blogs".

Unless you focus on responding to blogs only and leave out discussions entirely, it is hard to gauge if we are paid more, less or the same as responding to discussions. Blog territory is still a relatively cold land right now. I do try to pop over and answer 1 or 2 (lol) if I have time after responding to discussions. If you are doing some experiments regarding earnings from responding to blogs, do share when you have some results. Thanks! ;-)

Okay, thanks for your comments. I agree that it is hard to gauge. I will be "experimenting" but probably not much until after Easter. Then I will certainly share my results.

Your earnings say "participation" now instead of discussions. I have not looked into responding to blogs, but I have chosen to respond to some news articles. I earn at least as well as on discussions, but I cannot tell exact amounts. I am thinking I may just respond to news articles tomorrow, as my time will be very limited, and it would be a valid experiment.

That is pretty close to right whiteheather. However, since the inception of blogs as online journals, the meaning has now expanded quite a bit. Many people use their blogs as a website type portal. LOL A blog can be articles written by the user or someone else, or just ramblings, or an actual diary, or poetry postings. Pretty much the blogs now, can be anything you want them to be.

I was told the word comes from we(b) lo(g) and is like a diary of your thoughts or actions. Not sure if this is correct.

I went over and made my first blog respond. I don't know if I did it right but it is done now. I guess it gives you another way to make post. I too will try to do an experiment with it some day.

I've been responding to one or two blog articles a day, and have subscribed to one of the blogs. I have noticed my earnings go up over the past several days; since the upgrade. I am not sure this is the reason or not. I think some of the blogs are great. At the present time, I am trying to get my blog on creativity and writing accepted. Cross you fingers for me, won't you?

Not aware of responding to blogs. How does that work. I too don't have a blog to link here. I wanted to blog on here. If you figure this out I would appeiciate knowing about it. The way to figure that out would be to not respond to anything one day and just to a couple of blogs and see if you get earnings that way I think. Good luck with this. Not sure why blogs would be important here at Mylot.

well jenny, i am really not well sure about it, i havent so far responded to any blogs, but i dont think any such difference will exist, why bloggers or responding to blogs will help us to earn more, if it is so all the mylotians, will be answering blogs instead of discussions

I haven't responded to any blogs yet I've only looked once I was waiting for the blogs to go worldwide as the alert said something about it only being American blogs so far. I'll try responding to some if I can find any of interest, that's one problem I'm having with mylot recently finding topics I want to discuss maybe the blogs will be better thought out than many of the discussions going presently.
