Getting rid of a scar / myLot

Would anybody care to give some tips on how to get rid of a scar from a burn. I burned a small part of my skin from my leg from a motorcycle when I was a kid. It's still visible today, and I've always wondered how I can get rid of it. Any kind of method that you know of, herbal, or whatever?

There is an awesome ointment called mederma, that you can rub on it, and it will reduce the appearance, I used it on my scar on my face, and it really did help Good Luck!!

I did the research for you - From what I can tell it takes about a month before results start. This would certainly mirror cell growth cycles. It takes about 7 months to renew all the cells in your body. Hair growth is about 6 months. Gee, thanks DarlingGirl. I'm even more convinced now that I read the link you have just given me. I just hope that I don't get my hopes up too much though, I will just ahve to use it to findout. Thanks for the effort of looking it up!
