Okay you red-blodded Americans...lets see how you do on this test.
How well would you do if you took the citizenship test? Try it out, it's educational and fun.
24 out of 30 is considered a passing grade.
Supposedly 96% of all High School Seniors failed this test! And if that's not bad enough, 50% of people over the age of 50 did too!!!
I also failed, I hate to admit it but I did.

I took the test and I scored a 28 out of 30. Yeah! I must admit that I took my citizenship test 1 year ago and most of the questions were still fresh in my mind. This is a good test to be able to wake up the mind and brush up on the history... :)

I missed 3 questions--but I thought those were the hardest questions.
Funny that 96% of high school seniors fail. What are they teaching in American history class these days? I was reading somewhere that of all the academic subjects, history was the last liked among students. Too bad--history was one of my favorite subjects in high school.

I too wonder what is happening in the schools. I know that we have hard-working teachers...I am a teacher, though not in a public system. I have friends who teach in public schools and the stories they tell are eye-opening. It seems that so many students just don't care and their parents don't seem to want to make them. Where I teach, I have students coming out of high school without even the basic skills. When you have to teach a 19 year old the 1 - 12 multiplication tables, something is not quite right!

My first score was a 24 I tried again and got a 26 I guess I will have to do some studying.

Eek I failed too. I got 20/30. Sheesh, I thought I knew more. Then again those going for citizenship get to study.
