can your children fall asleep anywhere. my daughter has never been good sleeping anywhere but the bed and the car. she never falls asleep on the couch or in public. i think she is too nosy too see what is going on around her so she needs a quiet place.

My daughter is now 15, but when she was little, she would only fall asleep if someone was holding her or if she slept in the same bed as us. She would not fall asleep in the car or her own bed for nothing. We would take her for a ride and hope she would finally go to sleep but that never happened. Every time we got her to sleep and laid her in her bed she would wake right up crying. I think she was also too nosey to go to sleep in the car, her bed, or a public place too. It got on my last nerve for a long time. We finally made her start sleeping in her own bed and she would cry herself to sleep. She did this all the way until she almost 6 years old. that is too old to be sleeping with mommy and daddy still.

My son who is 17 months old only sleeps in his bed or sometimes in the car. My daughter who is 3 falls asleep anywhere! She constantly falls alseep at the table, sometimes with food still in her mouth. I try not to le her sleep after about 3:00 because then she doesnt sleep well during the night.

My kids can sleep anywhere. I have seen them fall asleep climbing on a couch, sitting at a pool party, or even just talking. If you are sleepy enough, you can sleep anywhere.
