Ok, I'm not quiting, however not being able to edit a post to correct spelling errors, grammatical errors and mistypes is very annoying. I wish mylot had an edit button.

I am glad to hear you are not quitting. I also wish there was an edit button because I want to correct some of my typos. I will see that I spelled something wrong and then I cannot go back and change it and then I feel stupid. I do not look at the keys when I type so there are times I can catch my mistake and other times it is too late. Once again I am glad you are not quitting.

It is agaianst the guidelines ( http://www.mylot.com/o/topguidelines.aspx )to comment on these things. You should report the person for doing this.

Thank you. I have reported her twice now and she is still doing it. "Sigh"

Thank you ever so much! I too feel stupid and then you have some who enjoy insulting you because you used a word incorrectly or you made a spelling error. I dislike rude people!

Ah that's one thing everybody wants here...why don't you "preview" your discussion or response before submitting it, then you can check for errors and edit it. The lack of the "Edit" button should actually make us more careful and wide-eyed..hehe!

You are absolutely correct. You would think as a writer I would be in the habit of proof reading, however I have a bad habit of hitting submit and then noticing my errors. "Sigh"

I too have that bad habit of hitting the submit button before spell checking or grammar-checking. It takes time to proof-read! Although a well written thread or response does look better :)

I was looking for an edit button in Mylot before. That was the time when I am still a newbie on the site. I totally support you from your idea of putting an edit button for every discussion you made. That will help members of the site to do things easier without guilt of commitng mistakes in their post. What I usually do, is that I read my response first before triggering the submit button. This will surely help you from commiting mistakes .

Proofread proofread, proofread!1 I know, I forget when in a hurry also. I also have a spell-checker to see if I misspelled a word. It does not work if the misspelled word is a different word though. So I still have to proofread.

Hello Tammy, I know that I need to better proofread. :(
