This is a simple process so you should not have any real problems. If you look on the back of the computer you should notice that the connectors where you plug in other components such as monitor and speakers are in 2 places. The ones that are in a vertical column at the upper left of the computer are connected to the motherboard, whereas the horizontal ones at the bottom are fixed to PCI cards. You should also have 1 or 2 blank spaces in the same place, which are spare slots for further PCI cards. Open the computer and look where the other cards are, you will also see the blank cover plates. You may have an individual screw for each one or a support bar screwed across them all, which you simply unscrew to remove the cover plate. You will now have a hole at the back of the computer case. Slide the PCI card into place making sure that the sockets appear outside of the computer and the pins are firmly inserted into the slots in the motherboard, but take care not to force it and bend the pins. Now simply fit the supporting screw back and close your computer case.

It will pick it up but you're going to have to enter the WEP key again (assuming you have one).......

PCI slots are the long, white-colored slots. you won't get lost in there coz its pretty long. normally you'd find 2-3 of those on your motherboard. when you insert the network card, make sure you insert it all the way down. and make sure the power is off.. c",)
