Do you like hot pepper?

I am from Malaysia and I do really love the hot and spicy food. It is becomes our country taste when it goes to the food. Most of the part in Malaysia use chili pepper in our cooking. This is because of the blend of the races which we have here in my country. Back to history, our country was the route for the European spices trader who came to get the spices from Maluku Island and Java Island in Indonesia. Since before, the blend of Malay, Hindu, Arabian, Portuguese, Java and the local tribes have been using chili in their culinary. Personally I find that chili makes my food taste even better.

Hey there! I am from the United States, PA to be exact:) I cannot tollerate hot pepper at all, I like alot of different types of foods, but mexican/spicy is not one of them. It makes me sick as a matter of fact:( My hubby however loves hot sauce and spices on everything. He grew up here also:)

im from Arizona, USA. and everybody in my family loves spicy foods. we just grew up with the mexican style of food as a big influence i guess. pizza is especially good with jalapeno on it!!

I was born in Portugal but lived in quite a few different countries including Brazil and Angola. IN all those we enjoy hot peppers and spicy food. We use hot peppers ( malaguetas )in many of our dishes and we also use a paste made of hot peppers, or instead of just plain oil - we use olive oil the most - we mix it with dried hot peppers and use it when cooking some dishes. In Angola we used a very strong hot pepper, but I can't remember what it was called. It was really strong but I loved it :)
