Do You Ever Wonder If You Have Insomnia?

I wonder about this often. Usually I think that my internal body clock is off. I work at home, and sometimes wake at 5am, and can't sleep until I've tried to stay up - and then I'm sleepy again! I usually go to sleep at around 12am or 1am, but that's only because I'm trying to wind down from my busy day. I try to find a soothing program on TV, start to feel sleepy, and then head for bed. My husband, on the other hand, likes to take naps mid-day, and rarely goes to bed until 4am or 5am. It's usually his entering the room that wakes me. I wonder though - I should be deeply asleep at that time. Something as simple as a door creaking a little wakes me up, and then I'm very cranky the next morning. On my best night of sleep I get 8 hours...I'd really like to sleep in once in a while and get a nice 10 hour snooze on a Sunday morning. It's just that I can't seem to anymore. Some people say that they sleep less as they get older. What about you? Do you think you have some form of insomnia, or do you sleep really well? What do you do to get tired enough to sleep?
