I try to do at least a half hour of exercise a day, if not a little bit more. I also try to eat healthy foods and watch how much 'bad' cholesterol the food I eat contains. My cholesterol level was a little bit on the high side last time I had it checked, but I'm hoping it's come down since then, since I have become more active and have been eating healthier.

My cholesterol hasn't been checked in a long time. I don't have health insurance, so I don't get it checked that often. There are other places that will check, but the times that they do it don't work with my work schedule. I exercise around 1 1/2 hours per day, sometimes more. I do cardo and weight training. On days that I do weight training, I may do over 1 1/2 hours. I take one day off for every eight days I exercise.

You need to check it regularly. I understand the cost factor. In india it is damn cheap. you can get it done every month.

I don't exercise at all these days .. flippin' muscles are so flippin weak I can pull a muscle just turning over in bed ... I used to run several miles a week .. play squash and generally had a job that had me running up and down all night long .. but then my disabilities went berserk and now i am totally sedentary .. I am even advised by the hospital to avoid any exercising at all .. My cholesterol levels are in the low brackets .. I don't think exercising changes you cholesterol levels .. it's what you eat that counts .. I have always had a low fat diet by choice as I dislike fatty foods .. you could try some of the new 'cholesterol reducing' foods like Benecol etc .. there are spreads, yoghurts, drinks etc in the range and they should help to reduce your cholesterol a little ..

My schedule ranges from around 25 minutes in summer to around 1 hour in winter. The criteria for my excercise is sweat as I really like to sweat it out. I usually do around 15 minutes of treadmill in Summer which is enough to completely sweat you out. In winter I increase it to around 25 minutes on the tread mill. In winter I also tend to do more weight training. In summer I prefer to complete excercise with some time in the pool. Cheers! Ram

I have exercise every morning from 7.30 am to 8.30 am. that's at least one hour per day and this bring me a good help and also keep my cholesterol at a good leve. I think you have exercise everyday and eat more fruits and vegetables but less meat, butter, sugar, salt, drink more water will keep your cholesterol level nice.

I tried to exercise regularly of at least 3 days a week, but was not successful due to my work schedule. Most of the time if I exercise, I play sport like tennis for 1 hour session to get fit. I have another set of exercise by walking 10,000 steps a day as my target. I used a pedometer to keep track of my steps. On an average, I made about 7,000 steps, and I will walk around the house to make the numbers. My cholesterol level is within limit with medication.
