I love the LoneStar fries. Below is a copy of the recipe, similar to what they make. The great part of this recipe is that I can get almost everything at discount by shopping at a local no frills grocer called "SaveALot" or "Aldis". Amarillo Cheese Fries and Dip like Lone Star's® Serves: 8 Prep. Time: 0:35 8 oz. bottle (1 cup) ranch salad dressing (1/2) 1.25 oz. pkt. taco seasoning 32 oz. pkg. frozen spicy French fries - prepared as directed 4 strips cooked bacon - crumbled 1/2 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese -Combine ranch dressing and taco seasoning; set aside. -Sprinkle cheese and bacon evenly over fries on the baking sheet. -Return fries to hot oven until cheese has melted. -Serve fries with prepared sauce for dipping.

I'm always sharing recipes on here! Keep a lookout! LOL I eat quite well and quite frugally also. I feed 3 teens and most of the time at least one of their friends. I shop at Aldi's and Save-A-Lot and create some of the best dishes around, using everything from those 2 stores most of the time. I do shop at another chain store for their sale items and certain brand name things that I prefer brand name instead of generic. For the most part, anything I make is going to be yummy and cheap! lol

I buy the seasoned fries often too. If by chance I can't find them, I create my own version with a quick douse of Season All and a little cayenne pepper.

Now I am hungry! I love fries with cheese and bacon on it. My husband would have a fit if I made them, but ya know, it isn't all about him! I tell him that when I make something to eat that he doesn't like that I always make something for him that he prefers too.

Bar B Barn - This Montreal restaurant is known for its amazing ribs and chicken.
Bar-B-Barns Ribs (Montreal Quebec) I have never been to this restaurant but a friend of mine who gave me this recipe said these come out EXACTLY like the restaurant's ribs. My family loves this. Boil pork ribs in a saucepan covered with water until they turn brown and the excess fat is removed. Drain & rinse well. Make Sauce: 1/4 cup ketchup 1 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon each: salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, cinnamon. Mix in saucepan. Boil 1 minute. Line a pan or cookie sheet with foil. Baste one side of the ribs with half the sauce. Bake at 350F for 45 minues. Turn and baste with remaining sauce. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes again. Turn oven to 200F and leave in for 1 hour. For crispy ribs, Broil for 2 to 3 minutes before serving. Serve with french fries and your favorite cole slaw.

This sounds really tasty, thanks. Ideal for watching a game on TV or something like that. 'Serves 8'-- that means 1 1/2 meals for me!

I love to make them during hockey or football games and have them to start the game with or at half time, or in between periods.. whichever it may be! LOL They are great! And with the inexpensive versions of these ingredients it's not going to break the bank to have a yummy treat! I also love them with a burger for dinners or even just alone with a salad on the side for a complete meal. It's filling!

I love anything with ranch dressing flavoring :). I used to have a great cinnabon recipe out of a book called "top secret recipes", but I no longer have the book or the recipe. I used this one: http://www.gordonfamily.com/Recipes/cinnabon.htm But I still think the book recipe was better. I don't really make them much anymore, but I remember them being really good.

I've never heard of these kinds of fries before. Must be from a restaurant that we don't have around here but these do sound delicious. I'm sure not only will my hubby love them but so will my brother and his fiance. I'm gonna share the recipe with her. Thanks for sharing.
