What do you think of a mylot reunion meeting?

lol..well somebody did suggest that idea about reunion but i have also a nice one suggestion why not have it in video conference can anyone know the details of such kind..?i have seen some movies where in even in different country we can meet through video conference..

It is an excellent idea my friend, I used to belong to a community group in my country the UK which was not too dissimiliar from this one but naturally all residents were UK based, and we had regularl conventions throughout the year. I went to a couple and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, I met some great people, made some great friends, and had a wonderful time! I don't think it would be possible with this site tho' but it would be great to meet some of my friends who I have got to know, think about alot and cherish.

It's an interesting idea, I'm all about building relations. Here's an idea I would send your way, something like a mylot crusade for peace, in which we get as many mylotters as possible to write to the United Nations and perhaps to the world's largest churches and we request and we demand, that the world powers begin fostering unity, cooperation, and direction for the human race... Hey Liran. First of all, forgive me because only now I knew that you are actually a female. Sorry about that. As for the reunion meeting, I don't think it will possible, because there are many members from all around the world, but maybe I'll see one day, because you live in a near city. Might happen ;)

lol you are funny. yes thats a wonderful idea, but i wish we could meet all of our friends here, hmmm something to find out. a video conference is a good thing, but not all of us havewebcams. so what to do? maybe someone has another idea. if i would win in the lottery i could do it for all but well, dreaming is allowed i think lol

Hi liran, I had posted a thread about this topic a month ago. A lot of responders readily agreed to meet anywhere else. In my case, I'm not so sure. I'm kind of skeptical about the true persona behind each avatar. Maybe, I'm just being careful and I'm kind of shy in real person. :)

A good idea! it could even be perfected more to allow for one big money making programme where all member could be part of and benefit as mylot members!

My friend, have you been reading my mind lately? Because I think you stole my idea here, I'm supposed to start something like this too!;) Anyways, I love that kind of suggestion too. If ever that happens, I would be glad to meet all of my good friends here. Get to know more of them personally, party and have a long, normal talk!;)

If a good conference room is created here on mylot for the users who wants to meet and talk and share besidess their posting. Right now this is a requirement for mylot also because sucha place will encourrage the people to be here more to share and it will create new ideas and new postings!

whoa.This discussion is just pure gold.How did you come up with this.Thats a brilliant idea.It would be really nice to meet all the people whom we've been talking with and responding to.We could also try to arrange an international meet where all the members who are interested can meet up at a central place and party all night long. That way it'll be totally cool cuz it'll be a group of people of mixed races.There should be a big hype to this and a few of the celebrities could also be invited.So we could get to see those whom we always wanted to.lol.I guess I'm being too greedy on this one.But this idea is just brilliant.I have a suggestion on the title for this union as "The Mylot Party".You guys could also come up with your ideas on the title.

Maybe one day Mylot will have a convention. I love the idea of meeting friends I've made online and I have had the pleasure of doing that in the past when I have traveled. It certainly adds another dimension to a relationship when one can meet face to face. Communicating this way is rather one dimensional so yes, I think it is a great idea. Maybe Mylot will make it happen.

totally support —— mentally ... but physically I don't think it feasible,guess right now this will be a dream for me in the future~ I'am a college student and have no time to travel around the world,but this is my big dream to realize couple of years later...

i really appreciate. that would be a great idea. video conferencing, as the first response suggests, would be a great idea aswell. i just would love to meet the persons, with whom i talk everyday, in flesh and blood. i am thrilled, even as we talk.

That would be wild. It sure would be interesting meeting some where to have some fun. Of course I would meet them.

meeting other mylotters in person is a great idea! I would try to suggest this with my fellow Filipinos, I'm sure they gonna love it too..we are fond of "eyeball" -the term we commonly use for meet up. It will not be easy organizing though but I'm sure it's gonna be fun!

This sounds really nice. I mean, who would have thought online friends to be real friends offline, being able to exchange hugs and kisses. Well, I hope for the Philippines, the meeting will be here in Cebu.. lol Anyways, I have seen quite a few active cebuano mylotters. :P

That could be realy nice... We can even do meetings with friends over the WWW. I can make a conference room and invite many people there... Well, Liran, you must be the social type, don't you? Organizing the movies you go to, reunion meetings... I like the idea. How many here are from Israel? I don't sujest Tel Aviv. We can look for someplace more quiet... Don't you think?

Great idea Liran! And you will be able to get to know more personally other members especially within the country. But I don't have a webcam. That may be a big problem if we have to use video conference? What do you think? (^^,)
