Did anyone catch this show last night? (Monday night?) It was so funny, that DH and I almost peed our pants laughing so hard, and afraid we'd miss the next skit!If you are not familiar with it, here is a basic run-down of how it works. The show is built around 5 different skits. The first 4 skits takes 1 comedian, puts him/her into a costume, and then he/she has to ad lib their way through the skit. The comdian doesn't have a clue what the skit is going to be. The final skit features all 4 of the "contestants"--again in an ad-lib situation.
So funny!! Here is the link to the NBC site if you'd like to watch or get more details...www.nbc.com/TGYH/I just hope that NBC will give it enough chance so it stays on the air long enough. Goodness knows they have been cancel happy with a lot of my favorites lately!

I actually taped the show because according to my unreliable tv listings, Dancing with the Stars was supposed to be on for two hours. So I "watched" Dancing with the Stars and taped "Deal or No Deal" and "Thank God You're Here". Good thing I did because I ended out sleeping through Dancing With the Stars. I don't think I saw one complete dance.
I don't know when I'll get to watch the tape of "Thank God" but I'm looking forward to it. I see the previews and it looks pretty funny.

You are in for a real treat! Make sure you go potty before you watch, though, because you'll be laughing so hard! LOL!!!

I saw the promotion for it and we caught it last night after I got off of work. Was so glad that they did 2 half hours together. We did like the first half hour a little better. We hope that there are many more episodes that are taped and it will be around at least through the summer. Would be great for long term.

I'm hoping, too, that NBC leaves at least ONE good show on the air. It seems that comedy has been replaced by reality. What we need is just a good laugh!!

In general, I don't usually like improvisational comedy, but that show was done real well. It's more like SNL skits, but the comedians don't have a script or even have any idea what they are doing until they walk through a door. I liked that they had real sets and props, too. I thought the beauty contestant skit was funny as well as the one with the reporter interviewing the "cops" who did not know what was going on.

Jennifer Coolidge (sp??) is one of my favorite actresses. I loved her in Legally Blonde. She did a great job with her skit!! I'm hoping the show can stay this funny, and stay on the air!! :)

We thought it was hysterically funny. And kudos to the other actors who also have to improv in response to the stars. They have some lines and know what direction the skit needs to go, but they have to react to the stars, too.
Much fun!

Oh yeah! the "regulars" we so funny, as well. They did an awesome job keeping the skit moving. :) I really hope NBC can keep this show on the air, as we all just need at least one hour of hysterical laughter!!!
