It's rolling around to be that time of year again. This year, I cannot wait to sell some of the JUNK I've accumulated. Anybody else an avid yard seller during the summer? My aunt's small town in KY has a town-wide yard sale the Fourth of July weekend, and my fiancee and I got our first living room set for only $100 last summer. What's your best find/sell??? I remember I sold my whole barbie collection for like $35 when I was about 12.

bet you wished you hung on to the dolls now because some of them are now quite valuable. However, i do know what you mean and i enjoy the sales just as much as anyone else. In many ways i think E.Bay represents the cyber equivalent blesed be

Yes, ebay is very neat. Worldwide yard sale, right up my alley.

I bought a box of mismash kitchen junk for a buck once at an auction sale, and found about a dozen antique plates in the middle of it. Sadly, I made the mistake of showing my neighbours the finds, and a few weeks later, someone broke into my house and stole them, and my silver.

That is crazy!! I am so sorry to hear that. Hopefully you've moved from that area so that you may continue to have good finds and be proud of them...? :-)

We used to have yard sales here in the area I live in, in Indiana. We have only lived here for 9 years now. We never did any good with yard sales at our home. We live right off of the highway and right off odthe main road. We are located in a very good spot, but no one ever came to our yard sale. We had many nice things also. We took our stuff up to my moms house about 5 miles from here and she lives back a country road off of the main road. We sold things like they were going out of style. I don't understand why we didn't make such good sales here. Alot of people have yard sales in this area but no one seemed to want to come to ours and we had nice things and everything was priced to sell. We ended up giving it all to the Goodwill. I really haven't found anything good at a yard sale lately. I mainly look for nice clothing.
