Let's see if we can account for every state and country that mylot has listed. So, please take the time to answer this question by letting us know where you are from...and you can add a little humor or background to your area. Here is the first one! I am from Wonderful Wild West Virginia. Our state is known for the Gauley Bridge...where bungy jumpers jump from the tallest bridge that I have ever seen, coal that is used all over the world to heat our homes, and part of the applachian mountain chain. As an odd note, true west virginians eat their barbeque sandwiches and hot dogs with cole slaw on top! Your turn.......

I am from the wonderful state of Illinois. We are known as the " Prairie State" or the "Land of Lincoln". Our most popular city is Chicago better known as the "Windy City". Illinois is actually a French suffix and an Indian word meaning "tribe of superior men." Illinois is a farming state where mainly soy beans and corn is grown.

Such a beautiful language. I have been to Italy when I was younger...and I would love to return.
