My favorite movie by Elvis, I believe, was Speedway. There is one part in that movie that I always fell over laughing whenever I would see it when I was growing up. There is a fellow who comes up to Elvis and is jealous because I think Elvis is seeing his girlfriend, it has been a long time since I saw the movie. But the part that struck me so funny was when they started arguing Elvis suddenly gave the other fellow a punch under the chin, he fell flat on his back and went sliding across the floor in through some swinging doors. I had a friend who lived with my mother and me after my daddy died and she and I would watch Elvis movies together. Everything we saw that movie we would be hurting from laughing so hard. I guess as an adult now it wouldn't seem quite so funny, but I think I would still enjoy watching it if it came back on. Flaming Star and Love Me Tender were two other good ones that he made but they are too much of tear jerkers so I don't like to watch them that often.

I haven't watched an Elvis movie since I was a kid. But the one I remember best and most liked at the time was "Blue Hawaii". I was born and raised in Alaska, and Hawaii was like the furthest thing from that...it was warm, sunny, beautiful oceans, sea breezes. I was facinated by the location. The movie was good too, lol. I loved Elvis's voice, more than his acting.

Oh very much so. I had some of his albums when I was a kid and I used to listen to them until it was a wonder they would even play anymore!! In fact, I think my mother still has some of them!! He had a fantastic voice!

i am a diehard elvis fan so i like all of elvis'films.if i must choose a favourite one though, it would have to be "loving you", the story is great more like a biography of his own life.it is colorful, has lovely songs,a good fight scene, and a lovely girl. the jungle speaks to you....

Elvis lived a very colorful life. My husband has told me many times of how he was hated by some people while loved by others. But you could tell he loved his family.

I just can't pick a top favorite Elvis movie since I enjoy them all but Charro, Flaming Star, Jailhouse Rock, Love Me Tender and Wild In The Country are in the top five. I always laugh while watching Stay Away, Joe.

Those were five very good ones. Flaming Star and Loving Tender always make me cry if I watch them so I try not to very often, Ha! Ha!
