Should your friend tell you how to lead your life?

I personally feel that a friend should not control you and your life. A friend should advise you and prevent you from doing the wrong thing in life.However,we all need to learn through our own experiences.
A friend should give you advice,support and encouragement in life.
A friend should be with you in good times and in difficult times.

It is always said that be in a good company of good friends. Obviously, as a friend I would guide them and tell them if they are doing something wrong. Not to criticize them or undermine them but because I want the best for them and I care about their life. No person can automatically learn from their own experiences if they are not told to do so firstly because you only learn when you are at extremes and the harm can also be big.

I am lucky to have a few friends like that. Friends that help you bury a loved one, and sing to you when you marry a new one. Here's to good friends who want you to make the best choices, but stand beside you when you do not.
