I have a washing machine at home. We wash clothes about once a month, but the whole day is dedicated to loading and unloading the clothes. They basically never get completely folded and put away. We just go grab what we want to wear from the pile. Right now, there is an array of socks at the foot of my bed needing to be paired... my least favorite part!

I have a washing machine and dryer at home and I do about 2 loads a day. Then every other day I was a load of cloth diapers. I'd go crazy if I let my stuff pile up for a week at a time!

With four adults, two women, two men, no children but men who act like them, clothes washing is an every three-day event ! I mean event cause the ole man (mine) does not like to wear something more than twice so it hits the basket in the far left corner of the room, usually. Dad can wear the same house-pants for days, goes no-where 'cept sitting in front of the computer or venturing downstairs for food or television so his pile is much smaller. Mom is flexible, she doesn't wear the same articles of clothing for more than a day, but she has alot of stuff to wear and choose from. Her pile can be let to 'grow' for over a week before she washes clothes. Finally me . . . my clothes accumulate but not as quickly as the guys. Therefore, my pile just waits and a week later or so, I wash with a load of boyfriends stuff ! Laundry has become one of my most loathed chores, it used to be fun . . . so was being single and only looking out for me.But I am blessed in a different way now, I suppose. 'till next time, sharing the light, erica

Before we moved out of house, i usually wash our clothes once a week, every sunday that is, using our family washing machine. But now, i tried to wash our clothes twice a week because im now hand washing our clothes. Paying other people to wash our clothes is out of the question because its a waste of money to let other people wash our clothes in exchange for money well in fact i can do it. I will only resort to paying other people to wash our clothes when im sick and cant do it.

I do laundry at home. I usually do a load or two about every other day. We have a small hamper and if I don't do it that often if overfills. I have in the past had to go to the laundrymat to do laundry and it was an all day process. I am so thankful to be able to do laundry at home now. What about you?

Unfortunately I live in a place without washer and dryer hookups. I go to a laundromat about once a week. I can't wait to move and get a washer and dryer. LOL... Hope to be moving soon.

I wash my laundry at home. On average I do 4 to 5 loads of washing each week. Although I have a dryer I try not to use it, as the electricty is expensive. I hang all of it on the outseide line.

Hey, ArienKing. I have a hamper and when it gets full I do my washing. It is usually every week or every two weeks. We have a washer and drier at home. If it was sunnier where I lived I would hang it outside like many people do. That way, it would save electric and help the environment. I separate the colors from the whites/lights. I dry on delicate because it seems like my clothes shrink if I use higher settings. Have a nice day and a + for you. Pablo

We have a washer and dryer-thankfully!! We use to live in an apartment and it was hard going to do laundry at a laundry mat!! I do laundry every other day, sometimes a few loads a day!! I don't know how four people make so many dirty clothes but we do =)
