My Dad fixed a computer in his office which I am currently working on and I am really enjoying my two hour slot I am allowed to play on it lol. I really wish I can invest in a fast computer which means I can work faster which equals to getting more money in my account doesn't it? Is it worth the investment you think? If I am to be working full time online then I think a few hundred bucks is worth investing in a new computer..In a few months I will definitely look into it.

Yes barbie, you NEED a fast computer and a fast connection. I have a reasonable fast connection but my computer s*cks. I fear that it is breaking down soon.. if you see my disappear from myLot suddenly, this may be one reason. I need to get more dough else I won't have any to buy a new computer when this one breaks down. *SOB*

First i wanna know the configuration of the system you are working on. I believe that investing on a new system will not make a much difference to you. For increasing the efficiency to work on mylot you should go for a high speed internet. Websites do not require high speed processors or memory but they do require high speed broadband. Even 1 mhz processor with 128 MB Ram and 80 gb harddisk can give you similar performance.

Fast computer will help you load faster information after loading from the net. If the connection example 56K dial-up, still keeps new computer running slowing while loading a web page. It is better to have both internet connection and fast CPU and more R.A.M. Certainly, weekly updated virus, removed spy ware, worm, Trojan, your dad's fast computer will be much more efficient.

We have a good computer .... only a few months old and fairly fast really ... but the internet is dial-up and rather slow. So no matter how good your computer is ... unless you also have a good internet connection it will not make any difference in how much you can post in a certain amount of time. The other thing to look at .... how fast will mylot let you load pages and then post ... because if it is slow again there is nothing much that you can do about it. I got online at my step-daughters place a couple of weeks ago ... she has broadband ... for a while it was good but then slowed down. That was mylot causing the slow down that time ... so many people all trying to post at once was what I think was the problem. Good luck to you ... but don't spend your money needlessly on a new computer unless your internet is top flight. You won't make any more money ... also you will often be slowed down just by the amount of time that it takes to check a discussion and then post your response.

A better computer is always a good investment, so go for it. Not sure it will help you get more money working faster, but who knows you may get lucky!

Perhaps you can earmark at least part of what you are earning on myLot and your other endeavors to buy the computer you really want. It gives you a goal to strive for, and will make sense in the long run. You seem to have quite a bit of success happening, and you could perhaps set aside a small percentage to get that faster computer. Meanwhile you can scout out the best kind and the best buy you can get on it.

An enormous one. I got a new laptop last summer, and I'm very satisfied with it. Of course, the connection speed is also very important. Mine is 5 Mbit/s down and 1 Mbit/s up, and that's enough for me. There was another offer, 15 Mbit/s down and 1 Mbit/s up but it would cost 100EEK (a little bit less than $10) pro month more. I can't even imagine I could work again with my old PC (that thing was suitable for computer museum) and with dial up...

Ohh yes Yanji, a fast computer makes so much of difference. For poeple who work online a fast computer and good internet connection is the key of success. It's definitely worth to invest some money on a new computer if you work online. My desktop is little slower than the laptop. But I love my desktop and use it mostly. But for me it's ok as I am not in online business. I just post in Mylot only which is not for money but as my hobby.

I bought my new set of computer three months ago. It took me about two years roaming around asking a thousand questions. I also used that time to save enough money to buy this one. I tell you, its worth all the time and effort and best of all, it doesn't eat up the spaces on my desk. Buying a new one is definitely a good idea if you are going full time. There is a lot of new hardwares you can choose from.

It certainly helps our productivity and efficiency when we have a faster computer. When my pc chokes up ,I feel miserable and if it doesn't get fixed ,I walk away from it.It is like the screen going blank in between a good movie.I think an investment on a computer is certainly worthwhile as we practically live a bit of our life on computers, especially when you are focusing on earning online.

Its undoubtly that productive things are far more better than leasure although you need it from time to time. Being paid by on what you do is more exciting than paying something for nothing. So it is a good idea that you buy a computer for investment. That mind thinking is more important in this time, and one pros about this kind of business is you are enjoying while being paid. Wow this is my first post.

Most definetly!!!! I would tell you to invest into one even if you weren't going to work online. My mom has a slower computer and when I post on mylot from her house it takes me about 10 mins to do a post while it takes about 2 max on my computer therefore I can make 5 times the money on a faster computer. Go ahead and get a faster computer.

I donot suggest for it. A normal computer with good connectivity speed is all that is required. If possible keep your RAM with better capcaity, preferably 256 RAM

Well, you can not work fast with good system configurations, upgrading a system means you want to do some graphics job, ill not recommend you to upgrade your pc or invest in your current system if you do not have anything to do with graphics and multimedia .

I think that its a good idea to look into getting a faster computer, you will also need a fast internet connection as well to match. But it will certainly help if the computer doesnt take 16 hours just to log on and three hours to open the internet in the first place :p We used to have a very slow and very frustrating computer and what a difference it made when my dad went out and bought this $2,500 one! Although its soo good, im hardly ever off it :P
