A zimmer, A tree house hotel, Garden hotels, Underwater hotels, Capsule hotels or maybe an Apartment hotel? Would you rather stay at an unusual place like those i stated, or do you like the standard 5 stars hotel? I know that when i go on my vacation i always like to try a new kind of a hotel, even if it sounds like a very strange one. So what hotel would you choose? Wouldn't you like to live in a hotel? i know i would. Do share.

Usually when I go for a tour, I will not spend too much on accommodations. Reasons being that I usually stay overnight for resting. And I feel good money is wasted. I will either choose a three star or a four star hotel. My selection depends where the hotel is located. Certain three star hotel are good as a four star hotel. If I am to stay in a place for some time then I will select a good hotel, not necessary the best.

No matter when or where I go for a vacation I like to stay in a 3 stars hotel after having a tiresome sight-seeing. On the whole I just want a clean, comfortable and hygienic place with basic facilities that we need for us to stay over night for resting. I always try not to spend too much on hotel accommodations. I just stay about 6 to 8 hours per night so all the luxurious items provided by the hotel are not so important to me as I couldn’t enjoy them much during that short stay.

I enjoy staying at a bed and breakfast. Its great to learn about older houses and have a wonderful home cooked breakfast. The personal touch is so important and I remember the vacation even more.

Well, I'd rather stay in different places on my vacation. I like trekking more than staying in hotels. In between treks it might be nice to be in a 5 stars hotel or maby one of the special and very interesting ones you have just stated above. I've been to a salt hotel in the Grand Salar in Bolivia. It costs a fortune to stay there... I've seen an ice hotel on discovery channel - it is expensive also. Both look like great places to be in, so I guess that the rest might be good as well (but probably as expensive...).

Personaly? When I first arrive in a new country, or place. I prefer a 4* or 5* star hotel. I am tired and I want a comfortable and very relaxed atmosphere. I feel this instantly in a 5 star hotel. A four star hotel is probably missing one thing and it is usually a pool. After a day or two I will downgrade myself switching to a less expensive place that has been recommended. I always reserve my first two nights from home.

Well I am not that adventourous as when I go on vacation hotels are just to pass night otherwise I am busy mapping the place I visit and whole day seeing sights of the place.I prefer to stay in neat and clean hotel with proper water supply.

I suppose I wouldn't mind experimenting with the different hotels since I don't usually stay in hotels. I usaully go camping instead, although I have stayed at hotels a few times, I usually prefer camping.

I like to stay where there's a fireplace and a kitchen but don't have to cook all the time a small cabin would be just fine.
