strange laws

I have heard of a few. There is a law about spitting on the sidewalk in one state. There is also a law on the books in a lot of state that say you can not kiss in public. That law was put on the books way back in the 1700 hundreds. The law that is on the book here in Maryland is regaurding noise. We have people riding around in cars with stereos that are extremely loud. These people ride by my house and my window litterally shake. When I am in my car and sitting at a red light next to one of the cars with the radio up my whole car vibrates. Don't these people realize that they are being a pain to others. Don't they realize that they are going to end up with no hearing in the future. Anyway there are tons of laws that are never inforced.

I think the drinking and driving law is rediculous and it doesn't really get enforced and I will tell you why I think this. How in the world can they have bars or taverns? People drive there and drink and then they drive home. Why in the world is this allowed? I drink but I stay home and drink. I know there is supposed to be a designated driver if you go out and drink but in most cases, there is no such driver. Why don't police sit outside these bars and pull each driver over and give them a breath test? I think they would have less drunk driving accidents and deaths if they would do this. It just doesn't make sense. Whay can you not drink and drive but you can go to a bar and drink and then drive and get away with it?
