Have you ever taken one? What type of course would you want to take? I'm thinking Mexican or Thai would be fun. Do you think I can talk my boyfriend into taking a class with me? ;) I remember, vaguely remember, taking a cooking class in girl scouts...or around that time period. I think we made Italian food. I've always enjoyed cooking. Somewhere there's a picture of me in my jammies when I was about 10 making eggs!

The store I used to work for used to have a seafood cooking class every year in feb. I think the idea of a cooking class is very cool. I am sure you could talk your boyfriend into it. He wouldn't be a very good boyfriend if he wasn't a least willing to try something new.

I have never taken cooking classes but I think I would enjoy it. I also enjoy trying to recreate foods such as Mexican food or Italian food or Greek food or Chinese, since I live out in the country and don't have many restaurants around or grocery stores that offer a big variety of ethnic foods. I had to learn to experiment with several foods until I could get close to the taste of something I was craving such as gyros, enchiladas, manicotti, and egg foo yung, like the delicious versions I had eaten when living in the city.

Yes I did. I learned to cook chilli crab. Thai food is good and interesting to learn. I had tried Thai receipe from the web and also from books. I now conducting class to make Malay goodies for afternoon tea. It a good idea to ask your boyfriend to join you for those classes. Point to him how wonderful a time for both of you to cook in your own kitchen to at the same time enjoy each other. I'm confident he will love to join you. Keep the positive point to tell him about the cooking class.
