Oh wow that's fantastic. I hope we can see the pic when it is done. I love hand made things. I am working on the Yan Flag to put on the wall, a patchwork kind of wall hanging that I want as a family heirloom thing. It is a present for my Husband as He has been so kind to me. I want it to be finished by the time I visit him again in a few months. I have to work hard though until then lol.

I don't have any active projects right now, but I am working on learning to make amigurumi animals. I think a turtle will be my next project.

I'm working on my mother's day gift for mum. I'm making her a "Red Hatter" pillow. Not a huge project but I just am not motivated to do anything lately, even reading which is completely unlike me!!!!! After I finish her pillow, I'm going to start a cross stitch project I think. I haven't cross stitched in ages, since my twins were born 15 years ago!!!!! LOL I think it's time to quit using the excuse the twins take up too much time since they're pretty self dependent at this point! LOL

I don't know 15 is a rough age. They always think they are grown up at a that age. Your "red hatter" pillow sounds cute.

That sounds really nice- I bet the reciepient will be thrilled! Right now I'm working on the kitchen ceiling- A huge project! We got it all ripped down- (we had a leak in the roof and it ruined the tiles)... and I'm in the process of picking a new ceiling- I can't believe how expensive some stuff is- We thought about punched tin- Wowsa! $35 a panel! Over $1050 for a new ceiling--- So not sure what we will end up doing- But it is a major project! Can't wait to see your pictures.

A shawl sounds like a fun project. It's always nice to give special gifts. I am working on a full sized blanket for my bed. I've decided to use multi colored yarn, and a solid color for the trim. I will also be working on painting some masks, that my daughter bought me for my birthday.

I should be working on the jumper I am knitting for World Vision. Every year they select a country where the children are in great need of warm clothing. Last year & part of this year it is Mongolia where the temperatures are regularly at freezing. I haven't finished the jumper yet.

That sounds nice, somebody is going to be happy on their birthday.....I have been packing which isn't as much fun as making a shawl.I am planning on moving back to my home town and i am getting everything ready to go back home..I am also having a lot of dental work done and my dentist is telling me it might take him2 more months...so I will not change my dentist in mid stream,so i will pack everything and keep just enough out to do with until moving time..Well good luck on your shawl, hope it turns out great.

I am afraid I'm not so good with knitting, crocheting or any needle work whatsoever, but I admire people like you who can do something with their hands, and out of nothing make such beautiful handcrafted wonders!

Hi suscan! That's lovely! I'm sure sure whoever is going to receive that will be very happy. Well, right now I'm busy doing a new line designs for greeting cards. I use mostly handmade paper, found objects like beads and charms to name a few. Like they say as our world turns more complex and computerized, a handmade object is such a wonderful thing. I guess, that's what I could share with you. Have a nice day!
