In my country we not only eat corn flakes in our breakfast time but we do make a cookies from them. The corn flakes cookies are famous during the Eid day in my country. We make a different type of cookies from them and it taste nice. I have one of the recipe here, hope you will like it. Greatest Cornflake Cookies Recipe Ingredients: 2 cups unbleached flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk 1 whole egg 2 egg whites 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup flaked coconut 1 cup rolled oats 5 cups cornflakes, crushed (2 cups crushed) Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add buttermilk, egg, egg whites and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture; mix well. Stir in coconut, oats and cornflakes. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls on ungreased baking sheet 1 1/2 inches apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. Makes 4 dozen cookies.

I know of a food shop called "Cerealicious." It's a blend of your choice of cereal, crushed ice, ice cream, chocolate cream, mousse, and fruits. My kid often buys that in the vicinity of their school. And she has been hunting for it in different places.

I used to cook them with prawn. It is like a fusion dish called "Prawn Cereal". Then it become a seafood dish just because of the prawn. It easy to do and its yummy. You need prawn, cereal like oats and crushed cornflakes. Some curry leaves and if you like it hot some chilli (the small fiery one)Oh you need to used butter to subtitute the cooking oil. It will taste better that way.

I like cereals so much... Well, we tend to put chocolate on them and bake. It is wonderful! We also make cookies and cakes from cereals, which come out great. Today there are so many types of cereals, you can use them for desert without adding anything... unfortunatly, it is not as healthy as the old ones (the pure old cornflakes).

hi thewellnessretreat. I have found that ornflakes can be used in baking for things like, chocolate crunch, can be used as the crumble in apple crumble and many other baking recipes. It can be used in cooking, used in crumbing meats like sausage and mince patties. There are ways to cornflakes can be used, not only as a cereal... Anyway cornflakes, with fresh fruit and milk are always nice in the mornings

I've hard of them being used on chicken. Like a batter for frying or baking. I've never tried it myself, but someone told me they used them for that.
