To me I have found joy in helping others and just serving Jesus. I have peace and joy. Other may have found happiness and meaning of life in other things, but I believe for me to be truly happy I need to have a relationship with Christ. What is your joy and happiness?

I believe we were but on this earth to help thy neighbour as thy self. We were meant to love one another and to be loved, not all this war and controvery.

I'm with you - my life would be nothing without a relationship with Christ. I don't know how or why I lived before I knew Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I love my children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, and numerous others and would give my life for most of them but none have the affect on me as Jesus.

The joy of the Lord is my strength. I find true life satisfaction in living for Jesus and sharing with others the joy of the Gospel. I have realised if I do not do this for a wile I feel a bit down. Then God sends some one on my path to share His Word with and I feel fulfilled. Spending time with Jesus is also my oxcigin. Blessings.

I don't know so much that it's the meaning of life or anything like that, but my peace and joy are all wrapped up in my family.
Everything I do, I do for one reason, and one reason only. Since the only two left in our home are my husband and myself, what I do, I do for our joy, our safety, our peace or mind and contentment.
Everything we have is given us by the Grace and Mercy of God and He is the supplier of our Joy. We have gratefully, truly, become one in each other. It might sound mundane or selfish, but it's not.
We have raised our kids and everything we do now, we do for each other. How it spills over into other peoples lives is just a part of God's blessings. It's not that we are selfish, although it might seem like I sound so. It's just the natural order of things in our lives.
First is God. Then is Jesus Christ. Next comes my husband and then I am next. Every thing else is gravy.

My spiritual Master Shri Aurobindo's famous sentence I remember, when ever think about the life:
"THE WHOLE LIFE IS YOGA"
I also remember THE MOTHER of Shri Aurobindo Ashram, who has inspired so many people like us to achieve the goal Shri Aurobindo and herself set for spiritual life on earth and for humanity and the future of evolution of the super mind and supramental power!
And then I always got that yes the life is continuous work towards this process only..

Amen Sister, gracious I have chill bumps going up my arms right now! I honestly don't know how people make it without Jesus in their life! Sure we have other things in life that make us happy too but to have that peace that passes all understanding is the best thing to ever have. There is a gospel singer called Tony Gore who sings a song called "I Don't Know How They Make It". It describes people who don't know the Lord and how life's troubles and trials are much harder to deal with. I totally agree with this song. I had to put my daughter on a bed not knowing if she would come back from surgery when she was 4 months old, I lost my stepfather back in 1993 and my father-in-law back in 2000. Those are just a few types of troubles that all of us have to face at some point in time. But when we have the Lord there with us it makes the pain easier to bear. Plus God has promised us he will never leave us or forsake us and also he will never put a burden on us harder than we can bear. I'm so thankful that He accepted me and came into my heart!!
