nickspinky I would have to say Dumbledore I never thought that death would happen through the whole series. The other ones I didnt feel as close with to the characters so they didnt effect me as much. I also have to say I cried for Dobbys death! I loved that little elf.

rockerwitch I think Dumbledore ordered Fawkes to stay. Albus knew he was going to die, and I think that's part of the plan. I think Albus ordered Fawkes to stay because since he is going to die, he won't be able to protect Harry anymore, so maybe he asked Fawkes to stay...
