skype is getting slow?..

lately when i use skype, my contact/s appear online then goes offline again..and when i send messages to them, there's this circle thingy on the right in which when you point your mouse to it, it says "not delivered yet"..it takes...

rajtherock7 my Skype has been running really slowly that past couple of days.... the screenshot shows technical information that i am using a really dated version of Skype.....
