What is in the "gabi" or taro leaves that makes it itchy when you handle or cook it wrong? My family were talking about it over breakfast. My mom is a great cook and she makes delicious "laing" (taro leaves cooked in coconut milk)...

rcombos thanks laydee... I see... but it seems that even if you buy it in the market or even the grocery stores cooks seem to take precautions on cooking it like not stirring it too much...

rcombos LOL... that's funny about the adopting a cat if the man's house has a lot of rats. I guess the adopted cat for that house will be really happy being adopted.

rcombos This is the first time I have heard about this saying and it is very interesting. If the cat chooses you as his owner then they'll be really loyal then, I expect.

rcombos I really do think the ABC and number videos has helped her a lot. She's just a little bit over 2 now but she can already communicate with me what she wants and what she doesn't want. There are times too when she would rather have me read to her. What she does...

rcombos My child has a lot of educational toys too like puzzles, books, and electronic stuff. I also give her time to play outside. As for programming, she watches Playhouse Disney Channel, which I think is okay for her to watch. Thanks for the post!
