Favourite Places in Oz

richardjames @richardjames (166) 5 Feb 07

My wife and I spent a month travelling around Australia last year. We loved the Great Barrier Reef and Queensland in general, also Uluru made a big impression. Have you travelled in Australia and if so, what are your favourite...

maximax8 My favourite city in Australia is Sydney. I just loved seeing the opera house and harbour bridge. Another favourite place was Kangaroo Island because I saw all sorts of animals there like penguins, seals and kangaroos. I thought the coast of Western Austalia...

War on Iran?

richardjames @richardjames (166) 3 Mar 07

Will there be a war on Iran in the near future? Personally, I think such an attack will spell disaster for decades to come. On the other hand I don't think Israel would be able to accept a nuclear hostile Iran on its doorstep....

wayken If Iran does what many believe they will do, which is create nuclear weapons and attack other nations, then we will see a war with Iran. As for the US involvement, I would hate to make the decision of when, if, or how we get involved. If we don't, the bulk of...

Name three things that really annoy you.

richardjames @richardjames (166) 23 Feb 07

Things that I really annoy are mostly to do with people being inconsiderate. But my three are: youngsters who inflict their music on others by playing it out loud on their mobile phones and players on public transport, people who...

TriciaW My three things are... people who smack their gum or blow bubbles, people who swear in public places where small children are and people who are rude to clerks at a store. Those things just drive me nuts and yes I have told people that while they are doing...

Three places to live in the world

richardjames @richardjames (166) 18 Feb 07

If you suddenly became very rich and were able to choose three places in the world in which to buy houses, which three places would you choose? I would choose London, Sydney and Venice.

2 responses

dopey22girl Hmm that's a difficult question. I know my first choice would be Florida because I absolutely love it there! Honestly, not a day goes by where I don't daydream about being in Florida. I think the other two places I would pick would be London (like you) and...

ElicBxn I'd generally ask: "WHY DO YOU DO THAT!" I'm always having having cats doing strange things and that's what I wonder. Like the cat who has to get on top of me & kneed - why does he do that? Or the kitten that has to lick my left nostril - WHY???? Why does...

serialmommy Why do you run into the kids' bedrooms when you are running away from them? That just seems so stupid to me to do that, especially considering there are no good hiding places in there and they always find you. Duh.
