rosewaterdisco 'Venus in Furs' is excellent -- have you read the novel by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch? Personally, I'm really fond of 'Pale Blue Eyes,' especially the live acoustic versions. You can find videos of VU playing at the Factory... I believe Andy Warhol directed...

rosewaterdisco "In the Aeroplane..." is possibly the best album in existence. I love "Avery Island," but it doesn't have quite the same power. Everything NMH has done is excellent, though. Have you heard some of the rarer unreleased songs, like "Little Birds"? Absolutely...
