Anyone who is a college student knows that it can be a struggle. With being a full time student, maybe having a part time job, and having a ton of work that is due within a few days can be very stressful. I'm just glad that the...

Justusforus One of the most valuable lessons in college and life is to work hard, set a goal and take it seriously. I know you will hear this a lot, but I worked my way through school (meaning college and post graduate) got a student loan for a small bit of it and paid...

So, everyone knows that the election is coming up and we have three main candidates running for president: Hillary, Trump and Bernie. Some people are only voting for Hilary because they want a female president. Hey, it's possible,...

Justusforus @sevanjan96 I tried to be objective and started listening to Bernie Sanders speak. He seems to skirt specifics and has a continuous mantra of Wall Street and other countries have free health, free college...but he does not give any specifics as to how, he...

Justusforus I am voting for Hillary not because she is a female but because she has in my opinion the best qualifications, has specific plans to accomplish things and like her or not has carried herself with much more dignity than Bernie or Trump. Bernie can whip people...

Kyla Matton Osborne I think as long as students are told of the academic requirements at the outset, the policy is fair. But it would be unfair to hold students to a certain level of academic achievement, and not to warn them beforehand.

Kyla Matton Osborne @sevanjan96 I am in favour of university being paid by the government. But I think if it were, there would have to be rules around academic performance and making progress towards a credential of some type. Education is too expensive, for the government to...

purplealabaster @sevanjan96 Thank you for that. I am hoping that it feels better soon as well. I think he accidentally hit a muscle when he put the novocaine in, because I am having muscle spasms. He said it is going to take a while for it to feel better. I hope that you...

So as of 2016, minimum wage for California is up to $10 an hour. But in other states, such as I believe Washington (correct me if I'm wrong), is up to $15 an hour. People argue that if we move up our minimum wage it'll be even...

Jeff Moffitt California has an astronomically high cost of living, so it makes sense that wages need to be higher there, including minimum wage. But go to states like Mississippi or Alabama where the cost of living is really low, and it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever...

Jeff Moffitt Maybe he's just been treated so badly by people his whole life that he feels everyone is against him, or out to get him. I could understand if that caused him to be very guarded about showing emotion.

maezee I feel like it wpuld bring the standard of living up. Its also a sad day for those of us who have worked our way up the totem pole into making $15 an hour. But I agree that $10 an hour is just not enough to live off. Quite the dillemma.
