slanted The local station where I used to work was at the end of a restored steam railway. On the holidays they used to plaster a big Thomas face over the front of one of the trains and do "ride along with Thomas" days. I was *so* tempted to skip work to go along ;)

slanted That's a very good point - with foreign language films, the original voice acting is usually far better than any dubbed version. In those cases I far prefer subtitles.

slanted Yeah, I saw The Strangers quite recently and thought it was really creepy. Quite enjoyable if you're in the mood though. It also used music by Joanna Newsom who's one of my favourite singers :)

slanted Yeah, I try to avoid things like that too. I prefer to stick to fruit/vegetable smoothies and water. Although I never really liked the taste of coke or pepsi even when I did drink stuff like that.
