soulsetfire The thing is, they use the food stamp card to buy food and turn around and buy beer and cigarette with the cash they have. I work HARD and MY tax dollars are going to buy needy people food... because they need it, not so they can buy alcohol.

soulsetfire Exactly. I don't think people should be allowed to buy junk food and soda with it. I think healthy, nutritional food should be purchased with food stamps, not Doritos and Pepsi.

soulsetfire But honestly, I can't understand why we are in such a hurry to "get to another discussion". I may be alone in my opinion, but I think it presents oneself as uneducated and I don't know why someone would want to portray themselves as such.
