What is your take on Bariatric surgeries like the gastric bypass, and the lap band? Do you know someone who has had either of these procedures performed on them? Would you consider one of them to loose weight?

Nrealitydenial Thank you for your comments. I've been thinking about some kind of surgery as an option for a while but the idea of surgery really scares me. I've never had surgery done before. The risks with bypass scare me a lot too. Lapband sounds like a better option...

Nrealitydenial Thank you for your comments! I'm just exploring options right now. I know surgery is permanent so I have to decide if I can live with those kinds of changes long term from the surgery as well as the short term pain.
