Anyone here a Mary Kay consultant?

Hi all, I live in Canada (BC) and am a Mary Kay consultant. I'd love to quit my job and work for May Kay full time. Is there anyone out there who has done this and has some good ideas for finding new customers?

tamara26 I know of people who have done it - my director does only Mary Kay, but I can't seem to get anyone to sign up as a consultant! I have great customers, but desperately need someone who is interested in starting this as a business.

Which is better? Mary Kay or Avon?

I like Avon better, usually I just get nail polish and jewelry from them, I don't wear a lot of make up.

tamara26 I personally perfer Mary Kay, but I sell both! I am allergic to a lot of the Avon cosmetics and skin care products, but like their jewellery and gift items. The Mary Kay products are far superior, last a lot longer and I feel are worth the extra cost.

tamara26 I have found that writing a novel comes from the heart as much as from the head. It is not something that can be necessarily taught - it is already there within you. I myself love writing and have written a few short stories and am in the process of writing...

tamara26 I have been thinking about this for quite a while - I'm still not sure if Harry will die. It could go the way of Star Wars - the good side wins and all is pretty. I just don't think that it will though. My heart wants Harry to survive, but I think that J.K....
