i made a series to detect shorted parts in a monitor power supply...really very helpful, i used my old 100w incandescent bulb, was able to detect an off value switching transistor causing the busting of fuse

tatsmers1216 maybe its just a bit longer before the driver takes control of your video card..at first the standard video setting will appear (grainy) but the right video setting will take over after the driver is loaded...if the driver loads then there is no problem at...

i openned my defective atx power supply and found out bloated capacitor then i rtaced all related parts and found defective rectifier ...now its working
