Is it rude to read while your spouse is watching TV ?

I really don't like much of what is on the boob tube. I'm not fanatical about it, it's just that most of it doesn't interest me. Is it rude to sit there are read while she is watching her shows?

Marshell I am not much of a TV person myself, and Jimmy's not fond of reading but loves his TV. I simply asked him if it bothered him if I read instead of watching the show, and he didn't care. All that mattered to him was we where close and it was comfortable. My...
