AmberLynn @thash1979 Yeah I really don't know what to tell ya about the toilet. I mean you can make them run continuously but we never think that the pipes to that are going to freeze. We have two toilets that face the exterior wall and they've never frozen for us,...

Technology and our youth.

Tracey Hash @thash1979 (33) • Akron, Indiana 13 Feb 16

Do you remember when you were a kid, and you would be able to see who was at who's house by the bikes parked in the front yard? I feel those days are long gone for my kids. Now its what game do you have on your tablet, and texting...

Best Affordable beaches in Florida.

Tracey Hash @thash1979 (33) • Akron, Indiana 13 Feb 16

Planning yet another family vacation for June this year and wanting to try a new beach in Florida. We have been to Daytona Beach two years in a row. It was affordable, but the fact people can drive on the beach is a major turn off...

mommaj Living on the east coast I am a little biased. You an stay at any of the beaches for about the same if not less than Daytona beach. I live about half an hour away from the beach so if you don't want to pay the price of the beachfront hotel, you might stay a...

Tracey Hash @thash1979 (33) • Akron, Indiana 13 Feb 16

I have been with my husband for 9 years and married 6 of that. Prior to kids and marriage, Valentine's Day was like a birthday for me. I expected my hubby to get me something just like he would on my birthday or Christmas. Now, we...

Cursive Writing being removed from Indiana Schools.

Tracey Hash @thash1979 (33) • Akron, Indiana 13 Feb 16

Recently I went to a school board meeting for fight for keeping cursive writing in the school system for elementary kids. Honestly, I thought I would never find myself being faced with something so petty but so beneficial for my...

Mary Guice @thash1979 It also makes you wonder when they stop teaching cursive, how long it will be before they stop teaching kids to even print?

mommaj @thash1979 It's a big difference with two little at the same time because daycare would eat one person's paycheck anyway.

Facebook being more informative than the news.

Tracey Hash @thash1979 (33) • Akron, Indiana 13 Feb 16

I hate to admit that I do spend a lot of time on Facebook. But lately, I am seeing that I am finding more out about current events, weather and even deaths quicker on Facebook than I would on my own local newspaper or station!...

Morley Hunt I am on Facebook less often. I get tired of the over sharingof personal information. Then there are those who click share to everything they see and read without ever verifying the information. Snopes is my friend.

Tracey Hash @thash1979 (33) • Akron, Indiana 13 Feb 16

My hubby and I have been together for 9 years and married for 6 of that. His mother has always given me a hard time with everything that I have done or tired to do, as any mother in law would. Not long ago after our third child,...

RK Finnell Unfortunately when you marry, the family comes along with it. I say kill her with kindness. Yeah, I know it's hard but be the better person. And you're right-it is none of her business. She doesn't sound to me like anyone would have been good enough. Don't let...
