"Star" Wars on mylot

the_ruler @the_ruler (1442) • Turkey 26 Aug 08

There have been many people who lose their star ratings for useless and unfair reasons. In addition, many members of mylot just don't like the idea (or the system) of star rating on myLot because it can be used to attack...

drknlvly6781 Yes, I was in one of the battles of "Star" wars here. I had gotten a couple of pm's that I didn't want, soliciting things that I didn't care about. I told these people very nicely not to send me such material, or I would delete them from my list. I didn't get...

Mylot...Class of 2015? (In the future)

theprogamer @theprogamer (10532) • United States 29 Jun 08

Just posting a thought as a discussion. Might have been done before, but that's expected. In terms of the site... What do you think mylot will be like a year from now, 5 years? 10 years? Think it'll even go that far or...

redyellowblackdog If myLot hangs around that long, I'll probably still be here, too. Though if my star should ever go to 10, I'd be so embarassed at my lack of outrage provoking posts I might never show my keyboard here again.

MyLot search this : jail 4 judges

redyellowblackdog @redyellowblackdog (10629) • United States 16 May 08

Jail for Judges? What a concept! Perhaps, only in America? Sure, we all get irritated with judges, but if an extra-legal methodology was established to punish judges with jail and removal of their immunity from civil suit, would...

redyellowblackdog Speaking of the lawyer craze, did you know the ABA wants to do away with the traditional jury system? Instead of ordinary citizens for the jury, they want a panel of qualified lawyers. Egads... imagine the corruption and guilty S.O.B.'s getting off. It boggles...

Gold Nanoparticles to assist with Cancer Detection

I thought this one was pretty sweet. Of course the technology is still in development, but it seems like another point could be added to nanotechnology and further cancer...

anniepa It sure is pretty sweet! It seems though, every time something is really promising in the treatment and cure of cancer it dies off after awhile, leading me to believe something I've been hearing for years - the powers that be don't want a cure for cancer...

Can Someone Really Explain Heaven?

theprogamer @theprogamer (10532) • United States 22 Dec 07

Another discussion where some may think I've lost it. I have not. This discussion has been on my mind for awhile, and thanks to my interest searching I'm reminded of it. The question is this. Can someone, anyone TRULY describe...

Jewels Thank you Viji, unearthly love from a human - it's not that I've not experienced love, I have. It's more that the type of love that comes through in these spiritual state has a level of intensity that is difficult to hold. It's like holding a level of fire...

Married Life

GloomCookieLex @GloomCookieLex (6073) • United States 16 Mar 07

Why do so many people make marriage out to be such a taxing hardship? How is being married supposedly so sacrificial. I can understand saying that you have to adapt to sharing your life with someone, but that's not what I mean. I...

ladyluna Hello Progamer, Yup, I'd say this one is 120%! (OK, sarcasm is definitely on as I type the words below.) Just for 'grins and jollies' I periodically check the U.S. National Debt Clock. While I have no question that you are familiar with it, I'll...
