ticob1965 I have a Jack Russell named Ripley(because I couldn't believe I bought another dog...LOL) and a Siamese cat named Harley. My sons have a lizard named Slash after the guitar player and two turtles named Stewie and Nigel (go figure)

ticob1965 Personally I will try not to have a conversation with them as I am pretty shy but sometimes you have no choice. Then I will try to keep it short without seeming rude and beat a hasty retreat.
