Do you think it's silly to name your pet after a real persons name?

Our dogs name is "Ike"...which is also a real person name. What about your pets, what are their names? Is it silly to name them after a real person? I think it's cute..

timberwolf Absolutely not silly! My dog's name is Tasha, a people name. However, my cat's name is Pepe-Le-Peu, after the skunk on Looney Toons. You Can name your pet whatever you want, as long as it makes you happy.
