Beagles....what are your likes/dislikes about this breed?

The reason I am asking this question is because my husbands friend has to get rid of his Beagle for personal reasons and asked if we would be interested. I already have a Golden Retriever and have considered getting another dog....

alainnmiog They're difficult to train, if you don't have a lot of time. Mine also gets very jealous of my kids.
